WHAT WE DO
SIFT finances projects that create or inspire long-term environmental benefits. This includes initiatives that minimise waste, maximise resource efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
WHO WE ARE
SIFT is an independent trust established in January 2005 through seed funding from local government waste levies. The trust is governed by four appointed trustees who are chosen for their collective knowledge of sustainability, research and development, the waste industry and business development. We are passionate about an environmentally sustainable future for Canterbury and committed to helping people achieve this.
