Native Plant Regeneration
Dedicated to creating a lasting environmental and social impact, the team at Trees for Canterbury cultivates native plants for local revegetation projects. Reused and recycled materials can be seen throughout their nursery with plants growing in old milk cartons an excellent example. They also provide environmental education and work alongside community groups, helping them undertake native planting projects.
With SIFT’s support, Trees for Canterbury are introducing a new system that will help keep track of the thousands of trees and plants propagated by the organisation each year.
